New Members and Visitors Always Welcome
Set on the edge of the lovely Suffolk market town of Hadleigh in the Babergh District, the club has been in existence for 256 years making it the oldest club in Suffolk.
We have just moved to a new site giving us, we believe, the finest club facilities in Suffolk with an 8 rink green, all in a beautifull setting with ample parking.
The club is affiliated to Suffolk County Bowling Association and to Bowls England; We are also affiliated to Suffolk County Bowls Association and to The English Bowls Federation.
We are a lively group of around 100 playing members with a strong social scene. The club plays in the County Men’s Triples League and The County Mixed Triples League as as the Sudbury Triples League. Recently we have joined The County Federation Triples league and we also have Friendly games throughout the season and Club competitions.
Less competative bowling is catered for with social bowling on Tuesday afternoons and Sunday Mornings along with a club night on Friday evenings. Our new club house also allows us to play short matt bowls in the winter months.
Prospective members and visitors are always welcome, either contact Fred Creed our secretary or just turn up. You can enjoy a friendly game with a chat at our bar afterwards.
